Privacy Policy

Jr Labs is designed so that much of the file processing happens directly in your browser. We do not create user accounts or store your files in a Jr Labs database.

1. Operator and contact

2. Files you process

Image, PDF, metadata, code, and document tools are designed to process files on the user’s device whenever the feature allows it. Jr Labs does not intentionally send those files to its own server for storage.

Some features require downloading libraries, workers, or OCR models from external providers. These requests may reveal technical connection data, such as the IP address, to the provider delivering those resources, but they do not require sending the file you are processing.

3. Data stored on this device

Jr Labs uses browser local storage for features users expect to persist between visits, including display preferences, Business Docs, and Property Page. This data remains in that browser until you delete it, clear site data, or the browser removes it.

To avoid repeating Jr Moments, Jr Labs also stores small local counters such as completed tasks, messages already shown, and the time of the last visit. This data does not include file names, file contents, or personal identifiers.

Tiny Breaks stores only local best results for the three games (scores or moves). It does not store game sessions, identity, or personal information.

You can review and delete Jr Labs data from Local data.

4. Hosting and technical data

The site is designed to be hosted through a hosting/CDN provider. That provider may process technical data necessary to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, user agent, date/time, requested URL, and security logs, under its own terms.

5. Third parties

PayPal: if you choose “Buy me a coffee”, you leave Jr Labs and PayPal processes the payment under its own policies.
CDNs and dependencies: Jr Labs loads pinned versions of certain third-party libraries from CDNs. See Third-party licenses.
OCR: Text Extractor may download models and components required by Tesseract.js.

6. Cookies and analytics

Jr Labs uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate usage and site performance metrics, such as pages visited and load times. This analytics is not used for behavioral advertising or to create individual visitor profiles.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed as a privacy-focused analytics solution and, according to Cloudflare, does not collect or use visitors’ personal data for this service. Jr Labs does not install its own advertising cookies for this feature.

7. Retention

Jr Labs does not maintain a central account or history of processed files on its servers. Functional data stored locally remains until the user deletes it or the browser removes it. Technical logs from the hosting provider are governed by that provider’s policies and retention periods.

8. Children

Jr Labs is a collection of general-purpose utilities and is not specifically designed to collect data from children. Do not enter third-party personal information unless you have the right or authorization to process it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy when features, providers, or applicable requirements change. The update date will appear at the top.

This policy is an operational baseline for V1. Before public release, you must configure the operator’s legal name and a valid contact email.
