1. Nature of the service

Jr Labs provides general-purpose utilities for working with images, PDFs, documents, codes, metadata, and text. The service is provided as a convenience tool and does not replace legal, tax, accounting, technical, biometric, or professional advice.

2. User responsibility

You must have the right to use the files and data you process. You are responsible for verifying the result before using it in a filing, publication, business transaction, or sensitive process.

3. Tools with special limitations

• Business Docs: invoices, receipts, quotes, and other documents do not guarantee tax compliance in any country. The user must adapt the document to applicable rules.
• ID Photo Maker: adjusts dimensions and framing but does not certify biometric requirements or acceptance by an authority.
• Barcode Maker: generates the graphical representation. Jr Labs does not assign or register official GTIN/EAN/UPC identifiers.
• Text Extractor: OCR may make errors, omit text, or recognize it incorrectly.
• Metadata Cleaner: may not identify every proprietary format or existing field. Verify the resulting file before publishing it.

4. Files and availability

Files are processed in the browser whenever the tool allows it. Performance depends on your device, browser, file size, and format compatibility. Jr Labs may set size, quantity, or page limits to protect browser stability.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Jr Labs to infringe third-party rights, process unlawful content, bypass technical controls, distribute malware, abuse the service, or perform activities prohibited by applicable law.

6. Intellectual property

Jr Labs and its interface belong to its operator, except for third-party components identified in Third-party licenses. The user retains whatever rights they hold in their own files and content.

7. Voluntary support

The “Buy me a coffee” link is voluntary support for the project. It does not make Jr Labs a charitable organization and does not imply a tax deduction. Payments are processed by PayPal and are subject to PayPal’s terms.

8. Disclaimer and limitation

The service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted operation or universal compatibility. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for losses arising from reliance on an unverified result, loss of local data, file incompatibility, or use contrary to these terms.

9. Law and consumers

These terms are interpreted with reference to the law applicable to the operator, without limiting mandatory consumer rights under applicable regulations.

The tools and these terms may evolve. The current version will be published on this page with its update date.
